Dave Williams is a vegetable, hay and straw farmer
in Wayne County. He also works four days a month as a consultant
for Truck Fleet sales.
In 2005, Williams was the recipient of PA Farm Bureau's Distinguished Local Affairs Leader Award.
His involvement in Farm Bureau prior to being
a state board member included being a Wayne/Pike County Farm Bureau board member
as well as involvement with county level media relations.
Williams is the owner of the popular Wayne County Farm Radio Show, a weekly
radio spot which puts "agriculture on the airwaves" on 14 stations in Pennsylvania.
Williams
is married to wife Melba and they have one son and three daughters and 4 grandchildren.
He enjoys woodworking and collecting antique farm machinery and is President of the
Southern Wayne Antique Machinery Assn., a director of the Wayne Historical Assn., and Vice President of the GDS Fair Association. He is also a director of the Wayne County Shippers Association. He also .
