2007 - Adams County Farm Bureau Wins President’s Award at PFB Annual Meeting
(Hershey) – Adams County Farm Bureau has been recognized as the winner of the President’s Award for Services during Pennsylvania Farm Bureau’s Annual Meeting in Hershey.
The “Adams County, Pennsylvania Fresh” logo was designed to increase public awareness of county agriculture and to promote local producers. Development of the logo is a result of the Adams County Ag Innovations Initiative launched in March 2005. The program encourages business relationships and partnerships between Adams County producers and local restaurants. The logo is a key component in creating not only a unique image of Adams County agriculture, but also in recognizing the community’s support of local farms.

2006 Arthur B. Musselman Scholarship Award Winners
Sara Ann Oyler and Meagan Cole were each awarded a $500 Arthur B. Musselman Scholarship. The scholarships were presented at the Adams County Farm Bureau’s Summer Picnic on August 6, 2006.
 Sara Ann Oyler
Sara Ann is the daughter of Bill and Mary Ann Oyler of Biglerville. She is a sophomore at Penn State University pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Agroecology with a minor in Agronomy.
Meagan Cole
Meagan is the daughter of Gary and C. Annette Cole of Biglerville. She is a freshman at Delaware Valley College pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education with a specialization in Agriculture.
