Farm Bureau’s strength springs from our Policy Development process. Throughout our organization’s history, the first step in successfully tackling farm challenges is our grassroots discussion and adoption of policies and solutions. Then Farm Bureau members and staff work to turn the policies into programs and public law at all levels of government.
As an individual farmer, you can harness the strength of Farm Bureau by identifying problems and solutions related to agriculture. All policy discussions begin at the county Farm Bureau level.
If you are a Farm Bureau Member (become a member), you can begin the process by contacting the Policy Development Committee of your county Farm Bureau….or by submitting your thoughts on the form below.
The policy idea* will be forwarded directly to your county Farm Bureau for consideration.
Policy ideas submitted without contact information will be discarded, as it is important that you be able to clarify your point, if the committee needs such clarification.
Submission deadline: August 29, 2008
*Submission of a policy idea does not guarantee acceptance by your county Farm Bureau.
