PA Code Online:
the entire body of PA regulations is available for access on the Internet. This site also allows you to browse through existing pages on the site to find a particular regulation, or to find a regulation through a word or phrase search. Words and phrase searches can be performed on either the entire body of regulations on the site or within a particular body of regulations that have been promulgated by a particular agency.
Regulations are often sited in a manner similar to "__ Pa. Code ___", such as "7 Pa. Code 88.7". The first number ("7" in the example) tells you the title in which the regulation is contained. The second number ("88.7" in the example) is the section within the identified title where the regulation can be found. If someone tells you a section number of the regulation and the agency that promulgated the regulation, you should still be able to find it without knowing the title number. Just looking at the subjects for titles listed on the "browse" page of Pennsylvania Code Online should in most cases allow you to identify the title where the regulation you are seeking is located.
PA Consolidated Statutes - Such statutory codes as the Vehicle Code and the Game & Wildlife Code are fully included in the body of laws that comprise the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes. HOWEVER, MANY EXISTING PENNSYLVANIA STATUTES ARE NOT INCLUDED.
References to Pennsylvania statutes should help you in determining whether or not the statute is a part of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes. References that look like "__ Pa.C.S. __" or "__ P.C.S. __" should tell you that the statute is part of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes. References that look like "__ P.S. __" should tell you that the statute is not.
