Advisory Councils
In Farm Bureau, every member has a voice that can be heard. A Farm Bureau member who is involved in an advisory council has their voice amplified many fold.
A PFB Advisory Council is a group of families who have voluntarily agreed to meet informally, once a month, on a regular meeting date in one of the family's homes. Advisory Councils are action groups whose purpose is to surface and review current needs and issues, to arrive at a resolution and then carry out their own solutions to local problems. They assist in implementing the Farm Bureau policies they helped to develop. These groups are the grass roots of Farm Bureau and provide support and guidance to the county, state, and national organizations.
