Ag in the Classroom is seeking farmer members who would be willing host an elementary field trip and/or make a presentation to a an elementary class about farming

The Healthy Farms and Healthy Schools Program, as authorized by Act 184 of 2006, was established to educate kindergartners and their families about the importance of choosing healthy, locally produced foods while increasing awareness of Pennsylvania agriculture.

Any Pennsylvania school district, charter school, or private school with a kindergarten program is eligible to apply for the Healthy Farms and Healthy Schools funds allocated by the General Assembly.

We are looking for county Farm Bureau members who are willing to increase awareness of Pennsylvania agriculture and the importance of choosing healthy, locally produced foods. Local agricultural producers who are willing to serve as hosts/presenters are asked to complete this form and/or contact Sue Lassi , Assistant Executive Director, Friends of Ag Foundation of the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau.
