Your Gift Is Needed
The Foundation provides an opportunity for individuals to donate monies to assure
the perpetuation of a way of life and a manner of doing business under the
umbrella of agriculture and agribusiness.
The Future Farmers of America (FFA) continue
to receive funding from the Foundation for its public speaker training
program.
Farmers benefit from the nutrient management projects at the University of Pennsylvania.
The aim of these research projects is: (1) to formulate effective feed utilization,
(2) to lower production costs, (3) to be more environmental friendly, (4) to
develop more efficient nutrient management, and (5) ultimately, to improve the
quality of food.
The efficient production of food items from domestic animals is a direct
benefit to consumers through lower food costs. The University of Pennsylvania
is also conducting research into "more environmental friendly" animal manure.
A research goal is to decrease the undesirable elements in animal wastes. Improvement
in the total food cycle is "mutually beneficial" to everyone.
