Think Farm Safety and Visit Us at Ag Progress Days
Summer is a time for fun, being outside, enjoying the weather, family and friends. A farm environment provides a great opportunity for children to explore and play; however, there are also several areas where the farm playground can be dangerous. Safety on the farm is key to keeping everyone’s summer safe and fun! Teaching children safe practices on the farm is vital.
One way to enjoy the summer fun and teach children about safety on the farm is by visiting the Women’s Leadership Committee booth at Ag Progress Days on August 19-21. The Women’s Leadership ommittee will have a booth in the PA Farm Bureau building on the Ag Progress Day grounds in Rock Springs.

Adults and kids alike come and try the tractor safety challenge to test your knowledge. The booth will also highlight some ATV safety practices and the winners of the Safety Poster & Essay Contest. Each day there will be a drawing for prizes and various giveaways. We hope you will take time to visit the PA Farm Bureau building at Ag Progress Days. We hope to see you there!!!
