Jack Post, of Crawford County, had a 141-acre, 56-cow dairy farm, which he liquidated in 2012. He bred cows for Genex until 2015 and now works independently in the same field.
He served on the Crawford County Farm Bureau board from 1979 to 2009, serving as president, vice-president and government relations direction. He also served on the FARMER Committee and chaired Pennsylvania Farm Bureau’s Dairy Committee.
Jack is a graduate of Townville High School and has a B.S. in animal industry from Penn State University.
He is a member of Centerville Baptist Church and has served as stewardship chair and on the diaconate board and sang in the choir. He’s also served on the Dairy Heard Information Association board, Holstein board, regional Agway committee, Dairy Princess Committee, Atlantic Breeders Cooperative board and the Pennsylvania Animal Health Commission. He also served as a Dairy Farmers of America delegate. He has bowled in a league since 1974.
He and his wife, Pamela, have one daughter, three sons, and 11 grandchildren.
