Clair Esbenshade operates a diversified farm in partnership with his sons, Todd and Kyle, in Beaver Springs, Snyder County. The farm grows grains and hay and also raise swine, turkeys and beef cattle. The family is also involved in a custom harvesting business.


Esbenshade has served in numerous roles with Snyder County Farm Bureau including on the county board, as a legislative director and leading the policy development process.


Esbenshade is a member of a local Mennonite Church, serves on the Snyder County Conservation District Board and previously served as a member of his local fair board.


Esbenshade and his wife, Deborah, have three children: Todd, Kyle and Tiffany.
