David Kimmel operates a 200-cow dairy farm with his wife and his brother in Plumbville, Indiana County. The farm also raises all its own replacement heifers and farms 1,000 acres of corn, soybeans and alfalfa.


Off the farm, Kimmel serves as the mayor of Plumville. He is a graduate of Marion Center High School and holds a Keystone Farmer Degree.


Kimmel was active on the Indiana County Farm Bureau Board serving as both president and vice president. He also served on PFB's State Young Farmer and Rancher Committee.


Kimmel attends Summit Church in Indiana and has served as president of the Dayton 4-H Livestock Club and the Marion Center FFA Chapter. He was also president of Plumville Borough Council and vice president of the Marion Center Basketball Boosters. He iis also a member of the Indiana County Marcellus Shale Coalition and Keystone Elk Country Alliance.


Kimmel and his wife, Shannon, have two daughters, Sydney and Liza.
