This environment focused curriculum track introduces students to the renewability of two common PA agricultural products, corn and soybeans, as they explore their characteristics and uses. #2 Food, Nutrition & YOU!

Our nutrition curriculum track engages students as Culinary Science Investigators (CSI) as they learn from where their food comes and examine nutritional properties of common foods and beverages. Students conduct experiments and simulations to deterimine the presence and amount of fat, protein, and fiber of various food items. Nutritional labels are examined and scrutinized for true nutritional content. Students are encouraged to make healthy food choices through a balanced diet.
