PennSusquehanna Riversylvania Farm Bureau Urging Farmers to Participate in Survey Identifying Uncounted Conservation Practices in Chesapeake Bay Watershed

Pennsylvania Farm Bureau (PFB) is urging farmers in the Chesapeake Bay Watershed to fill out a new survey that measures conservation practices implemented by farmers to improve water quality.  The survey asks farmers to provide information on all of the best management practices (BMPs) on their farms, including practices they have paid for without cost-share assistance from the federal government. “Grassroots in Action” Video Available Online

A Pennsylvania Farm Bureau (PFB) produced television feature, which focuses on activities and outreach efforts involving Pennsylvania farmers, was broadcast nationally on RFD-TV’s “Voices of Agriculture” program in January. The half-hour episode, entitled “Grassroots in Action,” featured PFB’s advocacy efforts and initiatives to help policymakers, educators and school children understand the important role that agriculture plays in their daily lives.                                                           Watch Video Now
