Wildlife Damage Survey Responses Being Tabulated

Pennsylvania Farm Bureau thanks the producers who took time to participate in our wildlife damage survey.

Those results are now being tabulated and some of the information will be published in a future edition of Country Focus. The responses help paint a picture of the extent of crop damage caused by wildlife in Pennsylvania.

“The responses to our survey exceeded our expectations,” said Jeff Grove, PFB’s Local Affairs Director. “The survey will assist us in our work with the Game Commission and the General Assembly.”

PFB’s State Wildlife Committee will review the survey data, and provide a report to the PFB State Board of Directors with recommendations on steps to be taken by PFB.

Results will included in this year’s county Farm Bureau policy discussions.

PFB will keep the information about specific farms and farmers whom participated confidential.
