Teachers learn about Pennsylvania Farm Bureau’s Mobile Ag Lab,
which is available for schools across Pennsylvania to supplement agricultural teaching curriculums.
I just wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful, fun-filled and educational 3 days here at Luthersburg with the Mobile Ag Ed Science Lab. Greg Burns did a super job of keeping the students engaged and excited about learning some scientific principles and connecting them to agriculture. I was surprised about some of the connections to agriculture that students did not know - like what their jeans are made from.
The students and teachers alike really enjoyed their opportunity to learn in a lab setting where they were able to do the hands-on experiments. We certainly had a full schedule for a little school. Every student had the opportunity to do three different experiments for the 3 days that the lab was here. Many wondered if it could stay all year. I said "No, but maybe it can come again next year." That is something we will be looking into later in the school year, as we plan for next year.
I just wanted to thank you both for being so willing to work with myself and the staff here. It truly is an outstanding program and has many dedicated people involved. It was a pleasure to work with you.

The Ag Mobile visit was a positive experience for all thanks to the organized educational staff of the Ag Mobile program. We have hopes of continuing the program for future years.

Thank you for coming to our school. Agriculture was something that I never knew. Agriculture is a thing I would have never learned about.
